Chesterfield Parkway West Resurfacing Project

CHESTERFIELD PARKWAY WEST RESURFACING PROJECT

ST LOUIS COUNTY PROJECT NO. AR-1545

St. Louis County has entered into a contract with N.B. West Contracting for the resurfacing of Chesterfield Parkway West from the I-64 westbound on-ramp to just west of Olive Boulevard. A map of the project is available here.

The project provides for removal and replacement of concrete pavement, sidewalk and curb; an asphalt overlay; and other incidental items.  In addition, alterations will be performed to existing curb ramp configurations to comply with ADA guidelines.  This project will also add a second left-turn only lane from east-bound Chesterfield Parkway on to north-bound Swingley Ridge Road.

Construction is scheduled to begin in early March of 2018, weather permitting, and will be completed late summer of 2018 with the final restoration work completed by fall of 2018.

Most construction work performed will generally take place between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. weekdays, however, asphalt paving operations are scheduled to take place at night.  Lane restrictions will be in place at various times and locations, but no complete street closures are anticipated.

Mr. Justin Ryder, Project Manager for St. Louis County, will be the Resident Engineer assigned to the project.  Mr. Ryder can be reached at 314-651-6641.  Mr. Robert Bond is the Project Manager for N.B. West Contracting and he can be reached at 314-962-3145.
