Parkway Central High School wins the 2nd Annual Mayors Cup football game on September 19

On Friday, September 19, Chesterfield Mayor Bob Nation presented Parkway Central High School with the Mayors Cup trophy, following their 22-6 win against Parkway West High School.  The 2nd Annual Mayors Cup football game took place at Parkway Central at 7 pm.  The trophy will reside in Parkway Central’s trophy case until next year’s game.

The Mayors Cup Annual Football Game was initiated in 2013 as part of the Chesterfield’s 25th Anniversary Celebration in recognition of these Chesterfield schools’ many achievements and impressive football and academic tradition.   Mayor Bob Nation was accompanied by Councilmembers Barry Flachsbart and Elliot Grissom during the game; the Councilmembers assisted in the presentation.

Parkway Central High School won the Mayors Cup last year in the inaugural game against Parkway  West High School.

While approximately one-half of Chesterfield is served by the Parkway School District, these are the only high schools located within Chesterfield’s city limits.
