18 YEARS OF FAMILY TRADITION CONTINUES ON NOVEMBER 23, 2017: 18th Annual Chesterfield Turkey Trot-5K Run/Walk & 1K Kids Fun Run

Join over 2,500 participants on Thanksgiving morning in the 18th Annual Chesterfield Turkey Trot! This fun event is presented by the Chesterfield Parks, Recreation & Arts Department and title sponsor, St. Luke's Hospital. 

Mail-in registrations must be postmarked by Tuesday, October 31 with online registrations accepted until the start of the race. Walk-in registration is available at Chesterfield City Hall weekdays from 8:30 am until 5:00 pm through Monday, November 20. Registrations are only available at Chesterfield Mall on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 21 & 22. Major credit cards are accepted.

This event will be held Thanksgiving morning, November 23, at the Chesterfield Amphitheater located at 631 Veterans Place Drive, south of the Chesterfield Family YMCA. The 5K race starts at 8:30 am and is a 3.1 mile loop course that runs along Chesterfield Parkway and around Chesterfield Mall. Miles will be marked at 1 and 2. The 1K Kids Fun Run starts at 9:30 am and will be a 0.62 loop course that runs along Burkhardt Drive.  Both courses are closed to traffic from 8:15 am until end of the race.

Long sleeved t-shirts are available for all registered participants by November 3. Shirts must be picked up by the start of race. Shirts are not guaranteed after race begins. Parking is available at Central Park and Chesterfield Mall.

Packets are available for pick-up at Chesterfield Mall ONLY on Tuesday, November 21 from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm or on Wednesday, November 22 from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm. Packets can be picked up at the Chesterfield Amphitheater the day of the race, Thursday, November 23 beginning at 7:00 am.

Awards for the 5K will be given to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as to the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40- 49, 50 59, 60-69, 70 and over.  The 1K awards will be given to the top boy and girl, with all participants receiving a medal for their participation. Awards ceremony for the 5K will be by the flags on Veterans Place Drive. 

Registrants can also sign up for the 1^st Annual Chesterfield Shamrock 5K/10K & 1K Lil’ Leprechaun Run too and receive a discount on both registrations! The run will be held on Saturday, March 10 at the Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex beginning in the F Quad. This family-friendly event includes live music, and all participants over the age of 21 will receive a free ticket for green beer! 

To register for both events, the fees are $35 through November 3, $40 through November 21 or $45 through November 21. Fees for the Shamrock 5K/10K are $20 through February 11, $25 through March 9 and $30 on race day, March 10.
