Granny's Garden

Artists Lee Leuning and Sherri Treeby create a lovable figure with their piece "Granny's Garden". “Everyone has a relative like granny. This life-sized sculpture was created in2008 and measures 5.5'x3'x3'... From the overflowing apron of fresh vegetables to the loving smile on granny's face, you just feel at home when you see this sculpture.” Lee and Treeby work mostly with bronze and first begin creating pieces using clay, which is later put through the bronzing process. This process includes making mold from the clay model out of rubber. Lee and Treeby create “Americana” sculptures in their art studio, Bad River Artworks, located in South Dakota.

"Granny's Garden" is located in front of the Eberwein Community Garden.
