Honeysuckles invade a wide variety of natural communities: lake and stream banks, marsh, fens, sedge meadow, wet and dry prairies, savannas, floodplain and upland forests and woodlands. Chesterfield Parks, Recreation & Arts will have a honeysuckle removal event at Central Park on April 4 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Participants can register for the event by calling 636.812.9500 or emailing astagoski@chesterfield.mo.us. Participants will meet in the Central Park parking lot near the pool and limited hand tools will be available.
