Saturday’s Distraction – Lee Leuning & Sherri Treeby – Memorial Field

Artists Lee Leuning and Sherri Treeby piece Saturday’s Distraction reminds us that “reading is for all of us”. Placed in front of 7 different libraries around the country, this piece goes through the bronzing process and first begins as a clay model. The clay is then used to create a mold out of rubber, and is finally bronzed. Lee and Treeby create “Americana” sculptures in their art studio, Bad River Artworks, located in South Dakota.
