The City of Chesterfield will be constructing an asphalt overlay of Schoettler Road in the summer of 2022. The project will include a two-inch mill of the existing asphalt pavement, pavement base repairs, replacement of failing curb and gutter sections, and a two-inch asphalt overlay on Schoettler Road between Georgetown Road and South Outer 40 Road. The existing asphalt pavement sections of Schoettler Road recently reconstructed as part of the Schoettler Road Bridge replacement project will receive a seal coat only.
Construction is scheduled to commence during the week of June 6 and is scheduled to be completed before Parkway School District resumes classes in late August.
Traffic delays should be expected since traffic will be limited to alternating one-way traffic at times during working hours. Access will be maintained to each of the residential side streets at all times, but delays may be experienced. Traffic will be open to two-way traffic during non-working hours.
If you have any questions about the project, please contact Steve Merk at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 636-537-4754.
