The Missouri River Crested, and is Falling

The Missouri River has crested and begun to fall, at all three local river gauging stations.

At the Herman gauge, the river crested at 27.24, and read 26.8 this morning.
At Washington, the river crested at 23.65, but read 23.48 this morning.
Finally, the St. Charles Gauge, downstream of Chesterfield Valley, crested at 29.38 and has already dropped to 29.2 as of 6 am this morning.

Projections indicate the river will continue to fall through the week.
