Captain Koebbe's Bio

Captain Teresa Koebbe began her career with Chesterfield PD in 2012.  She holds two Bachelor’s Degrees from Southeast Missouri State University and a Master’s Degree in Criminology from the University of Missouri – St. Louis.  As a patrol officer, she served as Field Training Instructor, Crime Scene Officer, Crisis Intervention Team Officer, Major Case Squad Investigator, and was assigned as a Detective in the Bureau of Criminal Investigations.

In 2017, Captain Koebbe was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and assigned to the Bureau of Uniformed Patrol where she also served as Field Training Sergeant.  She was later assigned to supervise the Special Enforcement Unit and Auto Theft Priority Squad.  In 2021, Captain Koebbe was promoted to Lieutenant and served in the Bureau of Uniformed Patrol as squad commander and Field Training Lieutenant before taking over as Commander of the Bureau of Criminal Investigations and Internal Affairs.  She remained there until her promotion to Captain in January 2024.

Captain Koebbe serves as a Deputy Commander on the Major Case Squad and is an advisor in Lindenwood University’s Women in Leadership Program.  She has received the Chief’s Commendation and the Missouri Attorney General’s Back the Blue Award.

Outside of work, Captain Koebbe can be found spending time with her two Rhodesian Ridgeback pups – Brooks and Leo – and cheering for the Blues!
