West County Youth Police Academy Volunteers

High School and Middle School volunteers are needed as instructors for this program.  They will be working along side Chesterfield Police Officers in teaching the 7 to 11 year-olds about police work.  Each Volunteer will be responsible for managing 6 to 10 youths during class instruction, arrival and dismissal. 

Volunteers must be at least 14 years old at the start of the program and be willing to commit to the full session.  The required times for a volunteer during the session are 8:30am -12:30pm. 

West County Youth Police Academy volunteers could receive a maximum 20 Community Service Hours for completion of the full program.

The West County Youth Police Academy Volunteer session for 2024 will run from June 17 - 21.
