Safety Town Volunteers

High School and Middle School volunteers are needed as instructors for this program. They will be working along side Chesterfield Police Officers in teaching the preschoolers about safety. Each Volunteer will be responsible for managing 4 to 6 preschoolers during class instruction, play time, snack time, and coloring time.

Volunteers must be at least 12 years old and willing to commit to a full 2-week session.
They will be required to be present Monday through Friday from 9:00a.m. to 3:30p.m.
Lunch will be provided.

Safety Town Volunteers receive 60 Community Service Hours for completion of the full two week session.

Safety Town Volunteer sessions for 2024 will be:

Session 1 June 3 - 14
Session 2 June 17 - 28 (FULL)
Session 3 July 8 - 19

Each volunteer will be required to be present during the times and dates indicated for the session they are assigned. Volunteers can sign up for more than one session and will be notified upon acceptance of their placement.
