Councilmember Gary Budoor

Gary Budoor is an IT Manager at TKC Holdings (formerly Centric Group) since April 2012. He is also the Director of Community Service initiatives for the American Cricket Academy and Club, where he has been serving for over eight years.  In this role, Gary has been instrumental in organizing and leading various community service initiatives, coordinating volunteer opportunities, and distributing groceries and sandwiches to local food pantries in and around St. Louis every week since March 2020.

Gary is dedicated to community service and has given over 100,000 hours of his time to various community outreach programs and volunteer opportunities over the past eight years.  He has worked on initiatives related to education, homelessness, and providing PPE to frontline workers.  Gary's contributions to the community have been recognized through numerous awards, including the prestigious President's Volunteer Service Award, which he received for five consecutive years from 2017 to 2021.

Gary Budoor was elected to the City Council on April 6, 2021, and he was unopposed for the April 4, 2023 election.

Gary Budoor's dedication to community service has been recognized by various organizations and individuals.  In 2020, he was awarded the George H.W. Bush Points of Light Award for his exceptional acts of kindness and service.  Governor Mike Parson also recognized Gary's community service initiatives and appointed him as a "Commissioner" for the Missouri Community Service Commission in March 2021.

Gary is a family man and is married to his wife Sowjanya.  Together, they have two sons named Kausthubh and Rutvick.
